Engineered from the inside-out to deliver more power to the cranks
than any other pedal system, COOMBE MILLENNIUM II pedals use
a state of the art axle and bearing design, along with a patented
twist-in retention mechanism, to achieve unrivaled performance.

Proudly made in the USA, no expense has been spared in building
the world's finest pedal system. The axles and pedal bodies are
precision machined from aerospace grade stainless steels, then
heat treated and cryogenically processed for maximum durability.

Built for the world's strongest sprinters, the MILLENNIUM II's patented "twist-in" tongue and groove retention mechanism is rock solid, transferring power directly into the cranks without any flexing between the cleat and the pedal body. The simplicity of the design provides improved security and reliability by eliminating the spring loaded latches, and plastic parts, used in other systems.

MILLENNIUM II shoe cleats are aerodynamically sculpted, low in profile, and provide +/-3 degrees of knee friendly float. The pedal bodies recess into the cleats enabling an 11mm total stack (pedal + cleat) the lowest of any 3 bolt cleat system.

PATENTED_TRIPLE_BEARING_JPG_.jpg

Built to last a lifetime, the MILLENNIUM II's integrated bearing arrangement incorporates dual rows of roller bearings positioned around a central row of ball bearings. The patented design provides unrivaled performance and reliability with the lowest friction and highest load rating of any pedal's bearings.

The bearings are protected by lip and labyrinth seals, and the hollow axle is filled with a grease reserve. This enables the seals to be flushed by simply pressing the grease plunger (shown above) about 2mm further into the axle every 2-3 thousand miles. With proper lubrication intervals, the bearings will last for the lifetime of the pedals, while providing increased performance, and lower cost of ownership, than any other high performance pedal system.

COOMBE axles are precision manufactured from high strength 17/4 stainless steel. They are through hollowed for weight reduction approaching that of solid titanium axles, but provide the superior strength and rigidity that only steel can offer.

COOMBE cleats enable positioning the axle "1"
closer to the arch for better support, increased
performance, and less strain "S", than in position "2", as used in most other systems.

Designed to put maximum power to the pedals, the
MILLENNIUM II shoe cleats are made of rigid, high
strength and wear resistant bronze alloy.

The cleats provide 6 degrees of float, and mount to
standard road shoes using the two side by side
eyelets of the 3 hole pattern.

The Universal Cleats (shown under the "Ordering
Information" section below) are supplied with all
three mounting holes (yellow/green/blue) for
fore/aft adjustability.

Cleats with fixed mounting holes for either yellow,
green, or blue line mounting positions, are available
by special order.

The "Green" line cleat (shown) positions the axle
directly in-line with the bolt hole centers of the shoe.

The "Blue" cleat positions the axle 4mm behind the
bolt hole centers of the shoe, moving it closer to
the arch of the foot for greater support and less
strain on the muscles/tendons of the lower leg.

The "Yellow" cleat positions the axle of the pedal
4mm in front of the bolt hole centers.

MILLENNIUM II shoe cleats feature aerodynamically sculpted,
hard rubber walking pads. The pads insert into the rear of
the cleats and are simple to replace when worn.
Combined with the exceptionally low profile
of the cleats, off the bike mobility
is faster and safer than ever.
